COOL READINGS : MANGA

Manga is the term used for comics made by japanese. These are the list of cool manga you should read if you planned on reading one. These on the list are mainly Shōnen, Seinen, and Seijin categorising 'for boys', 'for men' and 'for adult'.

HORROR MANGA :

Work by Kazuo Umezu, often considered the godfather of horror manga. These 2 mangas are a classic but very good. Kazuo is a genius in his work.

Work by Junji Ito, his best and longest work 'Uzumaki' is about a town's obsession with spirals, the people in the town experiences bizarre occurences, the story unravels with every creepy surprise finally leading into total chaos and horror. Junji Ito's art is beutiful and realistic. His other good works are 'Gyo' and 'Tomie'.

A masterpiece by Hideshi Hino, 'Panorama of Hell' is amazing, the story is told through an artist that paint twisted and bizarre scenes of Hell. The stories get progressively sicker as the plot goes on. It's disturbing, horrible but amazing.

MYSTERY MANGA :

'Death Note' is the best mystery manga ever, this masterpiece has a superbly written supernatural suspense story that will hooks readers in all the way with countless twists and turns until the surprising climax in Volume 12. Amazing art too by Takeshi Obata. The story is about how a notebook with the power to kill fall into the hand of a genius student, who intend to make the world a better place with the death note.

SPORT MANGA :

'Slam Dunk' is the book that inspire countless young people to dream of basketball stardom. Recent top 50 manga list by JapanProbe has slamdunk first on the list. Another Good sport manga is 'Eyeshield 21', it's a light, entertaining and very enjoyable manga. It also has great characters. You definitely will have a good laugh out of this one.

GRAPHIC VIOLENT MANGA :

'Berserk'' is an epic, a masterpiece with superb story line, awesome setup and great characters. Definitely one of the best series out there and a must read. Another violent manga worth mentioning is 'Gantz', a mind-blowing sci-fi suspense story that delivers lots of shocking and awesome action. There are also lots of nudity involving female characters with huge breasts. The story is absolutely out of this world and is very interesting.

FIGHTING MANGA :

'Dragon Ball' is one of the most popular manga series in Japan, North America and across the Pacific. The manga series was the inspiration for many popular works, including 'Naruto' and 'One Piece'. Everything is great, the art, characterization, the actions, and humor of the manga story.

'One Piece' is another popular and best seller manga about a boy who wanted to become a pirate king and his journey to find his crews and find one piece, the legendary treasure. Characters are great and funny, and the story become richer and more glorious with each volume.

'Jojo's Bizarre Adventure' combines horror, mystery, humor and action. Recent top 50 manga list by JapanProbe has 'Jojo's Bizarre Adventure' second on the list. The story follows a boy possessed by a dark force that he fights to control to save his mother' life. While around the world, others also posessed, giving them super powers are going to stop him from accomplishing his mission.

COOL PREDATORS : SHARK

We were all terrified by the idea of sharks lurking somewhere near you under the dark sea. Here are some cool pictures of shark sightings.

This surfer must be terrified, i would be.


The biggest great white shark ever to be caught in pictures would be this gigantic 6.4 m weighting 3,200 kg caught off Cuba in 1945. However there are reports that a very large 10m white shark was caught off Sandun, China on March 15, 2008.




Now the really cool super-predator would be the ancestors of the great white "Megalodon" which could grow to more than 18 metres (60 ft) long potrayed as looking just like the great white shark in appearance but much bigger, longer and 30 times as heavy as the great white shark. Its jaws can reach to 2 metres and in a research stated that it's bite more powerful than T-Rex's. Pretty cool.


Funny quoted "a great white is about the size of the clasper, or penis, of a male megalodon," said Peter Klimley a shark expert.

Now Megalodon is most certainly extinct but maybe not, this video film a giant shark claimed to be a Megalodon in some Japanese show.
